Problem
The current process is based on Excel files.
There are no interfaces for data imports and exports to neighboring systems.
The compatibility of vehicles and wheel/tyre combinations depends on the vehicle configuration and is difficult to determine due to the large number of variants.
Goal
Development of a web application for the automated processing and appointment booking of tire changes, locations and lifting platforms for a fleet of test vehicles.
Solution
Complevo has developed an automatic algorithm that independently identifies all compatible and available wheels/tyres and makes them available for booking or ordering.
Together with the customer, a new digital process was created that enables wheel changes to be handled simply and efficiently.
The new application automatically synchronizes with all adjacent systems, including SAP.
Benefit
Mercedes-Benz can significantly reduce stock levels because the new tool finds suitable parts in the warehouse that were previously overlooked.
At the same time, significantly more vehicles can be processed with fewer engineers.
